Hiya Guys,
Noticed a strange chatter which sounds like its coming from the gearbox.
It's only after a cold morning start and the chatter is intermittent and goes completely once warm.
Bit of searching suggest a possible DMF issue but I'm not confidence cos the majority that have this issue have a constant, 'marbles in a can' rattle type noise.
What you guys think?
Here's a sample I used on my phone, apologies if its a bit crap
It's a TDI 170 Stock (DSG Gearbox)
Thanks for any replies

Cold Start Chatter, DMF issue?
Re: Cold Start Chatter, DMF issue?
The car's been stood for 8 hours today so I'd consider this to be a cold start....
Flick the key and it purrs like a kitten with no sign of any noise at all
Gearbox chatter, normal sound on a cold morning start?...I'm lost
