I have a strong suspicion that the car seat in my current car isn't going to work in new Scirocco due to the bucket style seats.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an age 1-4 car seat that fits well / doesn't damage the seats?

I've used both the Britax Safefix plus (massive isofix seat with a pole to add stability) and maxi cosi axiss in mine. The Maxi cosi isn't perfect due to the seatbelt not quite going round it right. The britax fits perfectly. I was quite surprised at how easy it was to install either seat.

The Isofix seats sold by VW dealers were really good for our kids (Beetle, Golf & Scirocco) and the prices when we bought them were actually lower than the same seat in high street shops.
