Valance fitting

Post by JayPaynter »

Hi guys,

I've bought a R32 style valance for the 'Rocco from Maxton designs.
The 'roccos not a R-line so I was just wondering how it fits on? Do the four screws on the R32 valance drill in to the standard bumper? And goes over the top?

Thanks guys

It's designed for the GT (well, atleast it said so)
I took it to a friend of my dads who does spraying, fitting and what not and he said its a case of going over the top of the original bumper and cutting out the exhaust cut-outs, but sounded rather risky so was just wanting a second opinion.

Not currently as I'm working away, will post some on Friday though.
It's the exact same as the standard valance (but with the cutouts) and has 4 screws spread out along the top of it, it also looks a little lower than the standard one which is worrying me a little

I have read some where that they do fit over your old bumper then cut out your exhaust cut outs as you have said
If you want to go back to standard you will pick up a secondhand gt bumper no problem
