Enjoy it while it lasts, I think its going to be like when BMW released the Mini everyone was curious and then before you knew it every other car was a mini

i live in oxford so every other car is a mini, they now churn out 250,000 per year, bring on the cooper s hunting season

Its a sense of smug satisfaction seeing people slow down to let you past again on the motorway so they can have another look. I too have been approached a number of times by people admiring the car and as posted on another thread, at the Audi International show where my car was on show on the APS stand it drew crowds all day long. Hopefully this attention will last a while as there isn't a massive influx of them onto the roads.

Been posing since 6th September.

Been posing for about 10 hours now.

I pick mine up next Thursday - this week is going to ferl so long. Especially as i know its at the dealer waitng for me.

Collecting mine on thursday. I dont think I will be able to sleep

I was hoping there'd be loads around by the time I picked mine up, to reduce the pose/attention factor. But I've still only seen one on the roads around here.

Enjoy it even more while that lasts mate, everytime I see someone take a second look, I smile to myself. I know it was like this for the TT when that first came out, but once you get more on the road then it will lose the original "wow whats that factor"

Car is a joy to drive, don't know about anyone else but I went up from a 1.6SE Golf (don't forget the SE ) to this beauty, totally love it.

I'll be happy when there's a few more about to be honest. I was a bit self conscious when I had one for a test drive for a couple of days, I'd rather not have the attention. I think that's partly why I never even considered the TT, a bit too much show for me.

My other car draws a bit of attention, but I get away with it as it's more 'classic' than 'flash':

Thanks fella, built it meself. Not as quick as the Scirocco though, and no adaptive chassis control or DSG.

If I get the opportunity/time/money I want to restore at 1964 Ford Mustang, I see a Champagne Gold one that cruises around here, looks beautiful! Mine would have to be restored to Black, with Tan leather.

met a 58 plate tt today, think he was trying to prove some point, i just appreciated the sound quality of the dynaudio, attention has all been positive given the scirocco is a real wold car, love the car jon and the fuchs are a nice touch
