Really wanting my car remapped (1.4 tsi 160) and I'm not sure who to go with, got a quote from Revo which was £500 including new spark plugs.. Or £200 by Quantum.
Revo states 205-215 bhp
Quantum states 196 bhp.
:S advice please? -Al

When you get a price give them a call and ask if they can do a little better on the price as your undecided which company to go with it worked for me,
They are a awesome company and give excellent customer care they also give you a warranty on your engine

i'd never remap this engine given some of the tales of woe in stock form, there is a reason why the likes of Revo etc do not do stage 2 for these

That's a fair point, though Revo suggest spark plugs to avoid issues. It's mostly the 2008+2009 engines that have problems.

262 is nice! It's a shame they can't go 210-220 on my 1.4!

One quick question, what difference does the remap make to your insurance cost? just a rough idea would be good.
