Good stuff....did you installed them already?

I'm getting my Scirocco, hopefully, in 1.5 months without the parking sensor, because they suck...

Anyway...this seems like a nice, clean alternative option...

Let me know how this went for you...

Think im gunna have a go with these. Ive not had the bumper off the Rocco yet but im guessing there will be about 12 bolts as per usual. Was thinking of taking the 12v supply from the socket in the boot. Any input / advise?

Only trouble with that would be it being constantly on, taking it from the reverse light supply would be my fist suggestion.

Also is the 12 socket in the boot always active or only with ignition on?

Thats not a bad idea. After looking into these sensor kits it appears that you have to press a button to activate the sensors (which is a bit naff imo). Maybe you could bypass the switch and tap into the reverse light as you suggested which would only activate the sensors when in reverse....

EDIT: The button may be for the front sensors only. A youtube video from the manufacture actually shows tapping into the reverse light. :)

The dealer sucks, they dont want to build them in...only their own 'VW' sensors... :vibes:

screw them.... :faint:
