Warning light

Hi everyone,

I am looking at buying my first Scirocco shortly and have found a 2.0tsi gt in black but I have a worry I wonder if someone might be able to clear up for me....with the ignition on the "p" (handbrake) light flashes, I have seen other vw's have a similar issue and there are various opinions on what it may be ranging from low brake fluid to worn pads or faulty sensors. Does anyone know or experienced a similar issue like this on their Scirocco and is it something that means I should avoid this car?

On a separate note am I right in thinking that gt's came with Bluetooth as standard? This car has the button on the main console and the one on the wheel but for some reason the previous owner has fitted a "parrot" hands free system.....

Any advice on other things to check when I have a proper look around the car would be brilliant.

Sorry to just arrive and fire all sorts of questions but don't really want my first Scirocco to be a disaster that puts me off them!

Cheers.
Ben

Bluetooth only became standard in the last quarter of 2011. Prior to that it was a cost option and the phone button doesn't imply that it's fitted.

Nope, the Head Unit and the MFSW have the phone button whether it's fitted or not. If it's fitted there is a module under the driver's seat and there is a phone menu on the MFD.
