Aliexpress are a Chinese marketplace and a lot of what they sell are replicas although my OBD2 from them works a treat. If you want Chinese maybe check out http://www.dx.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (this is a single company, aliexpress is kind of like a Chinese amazon!)

And I can vouch for DX as I order loads of random stuff, free shipping too!

Can vouch for Ali express. They don't get your money unless you're completely satisfied. Great buyer protection. And if not you've wasted less than 20 quid anyway!

Tommihayes, I haven't ordered from AliExpress in a long time, the ESCROW payment is good I agree, I reccoment just reading reviews of the company selling first... At least with DX its only one seller!

I have used fake VCDS in the past, it works yes but can never be updated or go online etc, must use the software that comes with it. Plus I do not like the thought of using a cheap china tool on my car incase it bricks the ecu. But I am sure it would be fine tbh.

Encountered issues where coding changed and accepted but nothing changes was made on the hardware. Run the vcds again and it returns to default coding . Currently only able to enable the needle sweep.

Can anyone advise how to resolve the matter?
