Hey all

I wanted to hear if anyone of you also have problems with noise inside of the car from the doors/door covers .. Mostly actually from the triangled plastic door handle ?? .. There is sometimes noise from the inside the doors when I accelerate and there is often noise from the door handles when I hear music .. Anyone else with these or similar problems ?

Is it like a plastic rattling noise?

If so, I have the same thing and it's really quite frustrating! I get annoyed with the slightest noise while driving, right now my rear view mirror, something in the dash and as you've mentioned - the triangle door arms seem to make noise. Driving me insane

If its anything louder, I had an issue that when I accelerated from a stand still I would hear a metallic knocking noise. Turned out to be the door locking mechanism, sprayed a little bit of WD40 in each and it's been gone ever since!

I get a noise and get worried for a second occasionally when the windows don't go back up after dropping to open the doors

Those triangular shaped door pulls can creak a bit, I have noticed particularly in summer when the car has been parked and the cabin gets hot, those door pulls can creak for a while, but they do seem to 'settle' again once things cool down.

I have the same problem with my rear mirror at the minute, seems to be the long strip that goes from the mirror to the roof that rattles, only had a quick look, but Gona try take it off and fix it

My door handles rattle, and some things behind the door,down side of lowering and rough rides I think haha, Gona strip the whole interior soon and get rattle hunting

I have a noise that seems to be coming from my doors. With me it happens with the windows fully up, lowering them slightly the noise disappears also when the weather is warm/hot seems to be an issue with the rubber seals (in my case.)

i had the same problem on my R 2 years ago ,i went to vw and they test drove the car with me . Apperently Passat has the same problem ,and its the door handles(the one u can rest ur hand on so go to were you bougtht the car and tell its a known issue and they replace the handles or fix it
