Hi,
Just about to go look for the horn. Hunting for a rattle. Have heard that they can come loose.
Be great if someone could give me some pointers? Diagram/pictures/location.
Thanks

Stick your head under the bonnet and get someone to press the tit. You'll soon find it.

Anyone know what book can I buy that will show me a diagram of this?
From what I recall there is no Haynes manual.

You can get all the service manuals directly from vw for ~£7
You will need to create an account here:
https://erwin.volkswagen.de/erwin/showHome.do" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (My erWin -> Registration)
If you pay for 1hr access with printing rights it will give you enough time to download all the service manuals for your car. you can then read/print the pdf's at your leisure.
Edit: you can see the document titles (and i think the index pages) before you pay for anything.

Yeah, I've used it a couple of times (Golf V & Scirocco). If you browse the site before you pay to get an idea of how the site is laid out and what you want to download you can easily get all the documents for a specific model in an hour.
If you have a pre-facelift roc, select "Scirocco (2008 >) [137]" as the model, if you have time (or a facelifted car) you can go back and select "Scirocco (2008 - 2015) [137, 138]" to pick up some of the docs for the facelift version or anything not covered by the original search.

Thanks wensleydale,
Downloaded all the Rocco stuff + Golf too. Thanks to fibre broadband.
Found exactly what i needed in the documents id recommend this to anyone for under £5 its a bargain.
Also it has all the TPI with picture/audio files. So no dealer fobbing you off saying they cant find the TPI

Turns out it wasn't the horns that were loose. The hunt continues.

I did located both horns.
Firstly you will need to raise the front of the car. Unless you are very skinny!
Under the front you find a plastic cover under the engine compartment with 7 screws. Remove this.
Then from underneath looking towards the front of the car the photos i took show the location of the horns.
Passenger Side Horn
Drivers Side Horn
Found that both of mine were secure.
Hope this helps others
