Scirocco Central

Had my third new Scirocco delivered a couple of weeks ago and what a pile of crap!!
The build quality has gone to pot.
I had an 09 GT 140TDi then a 12 plate 140TDi Bluemotion both cars were spot on. No problems in 6 years and 70K miles.
The latest model is a 150 R Line and full of rattles.
The drivers door rattles when going over small ripples and bumps in the road, after 400 miles there was a metallic clanking noise from the clutch when engaging, a vibration/rattle from the passenger side dash foot well area and the sunroof screen rattles.
All three cars have DCC fitted and 99% of the time is in comfort mode.
Its been back to a dealer for inspection and surprise no faults found.
I had to point out the window drops lower on the drivers side than passenger when unlocking the door so then had to rebook for adjustment another day.
picked it up this evening and its been returned worse than when it went away. It now has an air leak right next to my ear.
The gap between door window and rear window is over double the gap space on the passenger side and just about 12mm wide.

Has any bod noticed how bad the quality is !! not good for a VW and especially nearly 30K's worth.

Lighter plastic to decrease weight NOT. Just cheap materials. But its not only the vw. My brand new beemer is shit compared to my prev 08 which was shit compared to my previous 03. However mist say no major probs with my 09 ROC nearing 70 k. Touch wood

It would be a shame if the previous excellent build quality of Sciroccos has been lost. Let's hear from other drivers of the recently updated model.

My 15 plate feels pretty damn solid I have to say, I've had no issues mentioned above...the only thing is that it seems I may have a dodgey speaker somewhere on the passenger side, I have to investigate properly but one of them seems to be cutting out randomly at times...hope its just my imagination.

No rattles in my 64 plate new model so far 3,000 miles in....
