Hi Guys,
New roc owner since friday. Where would I find the code for the RCD 510? I had a quick look through the docs but nothing obvious? Is it supplied - if so where should it be?

I think the question is where do you find the code if you need it in the future- I presume it should be supplied with the documentation - must admit I can't find mine in the documents supplied however the radio is working at the moment.

yeah the radio is working fine. I just wondered about the code - I was thinking about fitting an aftermarket bluetooth module and may need to disconnect the unit from the car?
Can anyone confirm where the code can be found - or is it a case of contacting vw?

You won't need a code if it's going back in the saw car. They are coded to each other. If you try fitting it In another car then you need a code from vw

My radio code was on my final invoice from the dealer.
Near the top along with chassis no. and key no. etc.

I just called my dealer up. They say they don't keep a paper trail of the code for "security reasons"
I can ask for it during my next service. When they hook into the car they can download it and give the code to me.
Sounds like I don't really need it anyway, unless I sell the unit due to upgrade etc....

Correct the less radio codes flying about the better
