Photo of the month thread/poll thoughts ?

Not sure if this forum has done this before but previous forums I've been on have had a photo of the month and photo/car of the year competitions.
Photos are entered and a poll is taken to decide the best.
It's a good idea to encourage lots of pictures and a reason to clean the car if you aren't a weekly washer !
A good idea or not ? What do people think ?
