R exhaust question?

Cleaned the car today and noticed the internals of the tailpipes are different to each other, does anyone know why?

No idea but I'd take a guess it's to do with noise levels. I would like to see inside one.eightyeightmph wrote:Why does the back box split into 3?
The thing that baffles me is why oem exhausts never seem to be as free flowing as far as the pipe bends and general design. Surely it would be very easy to make them better.

a bit of autosol will clean that baby right up highly recommended .
