Ash's Candy Thread
Evening All,
So not actually posted on my own thread for a while so thought I'd start over.
Pretty much a year ago now I was waiting to pick up my lovely new roc.
Can't belive iv had her a year now .
A few mods are on the list and also taken place nothing major though.
Here's a pic not long after I got her that a mate took for me

The main thing that's got me over the last year is detailing, iv gone from occasionally cleaning my car to having bags of gear and religiously cleaning her. The detailing bug has bit hard.
Here's just a bit of the gear
Since Christmas the piles got even bigger including samples of the full angel wax wax collection
A new foamer bottle & a set of wheel woollies

After a quick clean and fresh wax really happy with the shine I'm getting shame there's no sun to make it even better
Cheeky beading

Looks good ash...did you rub down all the chrome first or just go straight on with primer? I want to do my vw badges black but quite like the 2.0tsi badge as well and held off doing them for contrast between black and chrome.

Re: Ash's Candy Thread
Hiya pal ,Thanks
I bought the vw badges already done from a fellow user,
The 2.0 yes I sanded down with wet dry just to take the shine off the chrome.
Iv just put the last coat of laquer on and then I'll get it back on the car and then it's just the T to do.
As you I really wanted black badges but wasn't keen on keeping the 2.0 chrome and also didn't want to get rid, so hence going down this route, I'll post more pics when back on pal.

Re: Ash's Candy Thread
You can also just give the badges a good scotch if they aren't damaged
