2.0 tsi 180cv VS 2.0 tsi 220cv

Hello,

I was wondering if someone knows if there are mechanical differences between the 2.0 tsi 180 hp and 220 hp 2.0 tsi (both for my 2015) motors, maybe through software like ELSA? Google didn't help me this time...

I would like to understand if it's just a difference of ECU or if there is something more to justify 2500 euro of difference between the two versions.
The technical data of the engine, as far as I know, appear identical (displacement, consumption, etc.).

Thanks

I would imagine turbo is smaller on the 180bhp version.

My VW dealer just told me that the difference is only from the ECU: all the mechanical parts are exactly the same. By the way I just found on a spanish thread the same topic, but with google translate I didn't understand too much.

Somebody with ETKA can confirm that they are the same motor? Because at this point I would save a lot of money, and I can consider an ECU upgrade, since the two motors could have the same tuning potential (I would like to boost up to 250-260 with just chip tuning).
Opinions?
