Bluetooth just stopped working/vanished.

I've got a Kufatec Fiscon Bluetooth kit that came fitted to the car when purchased, up until a few days ago its been working fine.

I pressed the Phone button on the RNS510 and all it did was mute the radio rather than bring up the phone screen with contact etc.

Its also vanished from MDI screen and no longer connects to my phone.

Do/can i simply reset the unit somehow? I've looked under the drivers seat as per some comments I've already seen and i don't have the box which I've seen online, but under the passenger seat i do have a plastic panel that once removed has a connector with a purple clip etc. is this the Bluetooth unit and how do i un-clip the damn thing, I've tried a few times and it doesn't want to budge.

any help would be great.
