Hi Guys,
I currently have 2.0 GT TSI and I usually go to my local Tesco garage to fill up my car with Momentum 99. What people think about it??

nothing but shell

mine is the TDI, and for ages I was using Tesco, but when I switched to shell I could tell immediately that the car runs better with shell fuel

I agree with x.laura.x, Shell all the way!
I can't really comment on Tesco's fuel as I've never used it.......
I always fill mine with V-Power and have done since ownership, I also used it in my GTI.
I have a Shell driver's club card which enables you to collect points and receive money off vouchers every quarter.

Same here, nothing but shell fuel touches my tdi.
Fill it to the top around every 4 weeks.
Shell spend millions making and developing fuel.....

yerp deffo, In one of my old jobs shell came into work and showed us the difference the diesel fuel is compared to other brands and it was like WOW!,
something like the normal shell diesel is the equivalent of Tesco momentum fuel

All base fuels are the same as there are only a few refineries in the country, although different companies do use different additives to achieve the final product at the pump.
I'm not surprised a Shell worker says their fuel is better than everyone elses:-)
Buy what makes you happy...

BP Ultimate or Shell V-Power, never used anything else in my diesels, I personally think it makes a difference as I have used normal diesel but everyone has different opinions on this one. Use what you prefer, its your choice at the end of the day.

We only use tesco momemtum. We shop in tesco so use fuel save so get great savings. We will have 20p a litre off 111.9 for super unleaded.

I try and use Shell V-Power (Nitro+) when I can, I definitely get slightly better mpg using it so the extra cost at the pump is worth it IMHO.
