I have two kinda very worn looking keys, the buttons them selves are very worn, anyone who had any luck changing the whole thing? i know there's a pin I have to hammer out, but anyone actually done it, and where do you buy the parts?`

Example, would this work, anyone tried this?

Any other links are appreciated too!

Forgot to add, that it's the 2009+ version (Not the one that splits in half)

Snazzy,

I have one that I don't use. It's a 1 piece 3 button key fob with an uncut key (so it doesn't spilt in two). It's in very good condition.

Message me if your interested in it!

I was thinking of getting this one to replace my damaged spare key, as it's only the buttons on mine that are damaged and it saves you having to get the key cut or the transponder reprogrammed as you use the main part of your current key and then the new buttons. Definitely worth a try first for the sake of three quid.

If you get one let me know how it goes and I'll probably get one myself.

Unfortunatly, my key is the newer version (2009-> Later) - So it doesnt come apart in the middle like yours :-)
