Alloy Stone Chip

Long motorway drive yesterday.

A stone has hit the wheel at high speed and looks like it has bounced between two spokes. There are multiple chips one looks quite bad.
Any tips on how to make it look better without a professional refurb and more importantly to stop the wheel getting worse over time.

Thanks

Anyone who try's to fix there wheels without experience normally fails your best getting it painted by someone who does alloy wheels for a living, your looking around £45 a wheel.

Alloys corrode quicker than steel wheels with salt so need to get any bare metal covered as soon as you can.

Image of the stone chips
Cleaning it up and putting a coat of wax help protect it for now?
Not going to be able to get it done for a few weeks.
