Looking for an R

Hi Guys,
1st time poster to the site here. Some incredible looking R's on show, making me want one even more every time I look on here.
I am looking at one at a dealer in North Yorkshire, it is a 2011 60 Plate with 40k miles. Rising Blue and DSG. Half Alcantara seats and various extras, dynaudio, RNS510 & a Miltek. They are wanting £19,495. In the opinion of the forum is this a bit expensive? Having run some valuations on numerous sites it books at £17.5 / £18k. Don't know how accurate these things are though.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Andy

Welcome to the forum!
Can't really comment on the price. Dealers will obviously charge more than private sales but you will get a warranty which could well be worth it. Only thing I'd say is that It's VERY rare for a VW dealer to sell a Rocco with a Miltek; they usually want their cars stripped back to standard. Hints at it being previously modded. Not necessarily a bad thing...

Hi Easyrider, thanks.
Yes I found it a little odd they were advertising the Milltek. :-/ Could be a member from here who used to own it?..
Well I am not sure I will go ahead with this one. I am looking at getting a newish one now. More warranty is appealing. Although there has just been a small spanner thrown in the works when looking on Autotrader. I spotted a new S3 that is rather nice, the wife prefers this to a Scirocco too.. oh oh. dilemmas.

ha.
Cheers

My mate has just bought an s3! Great engine and a little faster off the line than my roc however i prefer the look of the scirocco r which outweighs the tiny bit of difference the 4wd gives off the line!

I'm selling my R in a couple months. With recaro seats and the better nav unit. Also lowered and very well looked after. Look through my thread and you can have a look. Plus only done just over 20k miles on an 11 plate
