Grrrr

Just found a fag burn in the bucket of the rear seat behind the drivers seat... the size of a fag circumferance, deep & instantly noticeable in the Merlin Cloth.... so angry with myself ! I must've chucked a fag out the window but it caught & didn't go outside...

I don't know who / where to go to repair or replace... any ideas ? Also how much it's likely to cost me

Not sure if you noticed in the for sale section x5pea seems to be selling most parts of the interior, might be worth popping him a PM to see if he selling the rear seats cheap

I don't have an ashtray in the car. I do however always but always ensure I place my litter in a bin (no need for praise... it's what any decent human should do) - in fact I was so disgusted with litter around the Bank of England yesterday (I was at a customer site on Threadneedle street) I picked it up & put in a bin myself...

As a biker I know what you mean, nothing worse than a fag end popping out of a window and that nanosecond thought of "what if it gets into my helmet " (no rude puns please....lol). I detest smoking so no sympathy from me however I know you must be peeved off no end, prob the same as I was when I kerbed my alloy on my MKV GTi only 2 weeks into ownership. Its a gutting feeling.

If you go on somewhere like detailing world I am sure there will be guys on there who can point you in the direction of a re-upholsterer.

You do have an ashtray its your interior and i'm sure it smells like one. Good excuse to stop smoking, patches will be so much better for your car interior and you! As a biker too I've no sympathy, I'd like to see the reaction if a bike went past and the rider flicked the fag in the drivers face! Check your mirrors!

I have sympathy for you mate i smoke and it always worries me when getting rid of a woodbine,, feel for you hope it dosen.t work out too much for you.

No ashtray that I'm aware of unless you can tell me where it is ? I'm actually gonna get me one that sticks in the cup holders... and also I think you're assuming I don't check my mirrors before doing it ? In fact I do...

Now can I start on the gay looking leather-clad bikers weaving dangerously in & out of traffic & in my blind spot or do you want to stop throwing stones & retire to your glasshouse ?

Your car is the ashtray and we are not talking about how people look or drive but about throwing rubbish out the window. Can't believe a smoker who didn't have the sense to spec a 15 quid smoking pack on a 20 grand car is talking about throwing stones!
