No Bluetooth on 61 plate GT TDI 170

Hi all, I am new here and delighted to have just bought a beautiful GT TDI 170.

I'm really pleased with it, but there is one thing that is bugging me; I have read that any car built/ordered after August 2011 comes with Bluetooth as standard. I'm pretty certain mine does not have bluetooth, there is no module under the drivers seat or passenger seat.

So my question is, should my car have bluetooth and if it doesn't, should i be worried that it's dodgy in some way...? Its got cloth interior - don't know if thats relevant

I know there's loads on Bluetooth here already and i have searched, but i can't find a thread that addresses my specific question.

It'll be one of the last 2010 model years that hadn't been registered until then.

I have an 11 plate (Model Year 12) that was registered 30/7/2011 and that did not have BT as standard. Really depends on the build week as mine was one of the first MY12. As far as I'm aware there was no specific cut in date for BT being fitted as standard. All I was told was that it was from orders placed after 1st Aug, which probably relates to build week 45 onwards based on the leadtime at the time, which was roughly 12 weeks.

VW model years changeover around Week 22 production, so Model Year 12 cars are built from Week 22, 2011.

Thank you both very much for your replies. That makes sense. I also phone VW for good measure and they confirmed it didn't have Bluetooth as standard.
