Tyres What to choose!

Right i know there has been threads about tyres but opinions and experiences change so thought id ask!
I'm in need of two tyres would ideally like to get 4 but got the rocco second hand with the front much more worn than the back! So no need to do all of them yet.

Currently has 4 x 235/40/18 Pirelli Pzero Rosso's.

I have done some research and these seem to be the best bet.
  • - Michelin Pilot Super Sport
    - Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
    - Continental Sport Contact 5
Recommendations welcome if I have missed a big player from the list.
I will be replacing the other two with the same once they get worn!

Is it worth changing or just stick with the Rosso's?

If anyone has seen any good deals on these that would also be useful.
Also where is the best online place to buy tyres other then Kwik-Fit?

Thanks

Try looking on camskill mate. They are usually quite cheap for tyres

Can't comment on the SC5's but the SC3's that I have on the front of mine seem to grip really well in all conditions. Still on the factory fit Dunlops on the rear though.

I personally like Goodyear eagle F1's but the pirelli P zero Rosso are also a very good tyre both are of a softer compound though I believe and with a fair amount of enthusiastic driving im lucky to see 10,000 miles out of them :-)

I can recommend the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, they are soft, low noise, and good grip in both wet and dry conditions. I bought a pair earlier this year fitted locally, really good tyres

Hi Selleym,

It is funny that you started this topic. I actually had my 4 tires changed 2 days ago. I installed what you have now 4 x 235/40/18 Pirelli Pzero Rosso. Excited about them. Let’s see how long they will last.

cheers.
