Hi All

Up until now I've never really been interested in the world of detailing but want to start looking after my Rocco a bit more (Candy white)

I just wanted to run my proposed detail process past someone with detailing experience as I'm a newbie. Its expensive stuff so I don't want to buy the wrong kit.

Extensive Exterior Clean Process (Every 3 months)

1 - Tardis Tar Remover
2 - Pressure Washer Rinse
3 - 2 Bucket clean (Car chem shampoo, grit guards and meguiars wool mitt)
4 - Pressure Washer Rinse
5 - Paint Cleanser (Can someone recommend a decent brand?)
6 - Wheel Cleaner (Bilberry Wheel Safe)
7 - Pressure Washer Rinse
8 - Clay Bar (Dojo Juice clay bar and lube kit)
9 - Wax & Sealant Combo (Dojo Supernatural Hybrid)
10 - Glass cleaner
11 - Tyre Shine

Weekly Clean

1 - Pressure Washer Rinse
2 - 2 Bucket clean (Car chem shampoo, grit guards and meguiars wool mitt)
3 - Pressure Washer Rinse

Is it preferable to use seperate wax and sealants or is this DOJO supernatural hybrid decent?

Can I use the same wax and sealant on the wheels or do I need specialised wheel sealant?

Does this process look alright or does it need modifying?

Eventually I will be a snowfoam lance for my karcher and char chem snowfoam, at what stage would i snow foam the roc?

Cleanser( I used dodo lime prime light as I had some but think it's goosed!)
Dodo supernatural hybrid.

Haven't cleaned it since or even really used it lol

Supernatural hybrid seems good enough though, I'll just wash & dry mine next time. Obviously Windows,maybe tyres if I feel they need it.
Oh & I've used the same wax on wheels as the car in the past [THUMBS UP SIGN]

I've just started using Poorboy's Wheel Wax. Very impressed so far, would recommend using it instead of the regular wax on your wheels.

Another thumbs up from me for the poor boys - it's easy to apply easy to remove & makes wheels a joy to clean after !

To add to your 3 monthly detail I would also fully decontaminate the paint . Using as you mentiond tardis and a iron fallout remover like carpro iron x or auto finesse iron out.

A Dedicated wheel sealent or wax will have much better durability and performance rather than a normal car wax. Wheel sealents and waxs are designed to work around the hot temperatures around the wheels and brakes. I also used poorboys wheel sealent for 6-8 months and found it worked well. But there are much better products for that job available.
