Adding Cruise Control ?

My recent Scirocco purchase is an ex VW car and therefore comes fully loaded with such niceties as Panoramic Roof, 19" wheels, Dynaudio etc etc. Why they didn't specify cruise though is beyond me.
So I wanted to know how to retro fit it, I understand that as my car is a late 59 plate it may have a 3 prong stalk or something instead of just the left hand one, how do I find this out ?
Thanks

Have a look
here..
Depends what part of 2009 your car was manufactured as well, I think pre week 45 cruise control is easier than the method in the thread above, and info readily available on the internet.

The weeks are parallel to calendar weeks - so that's a late 09 build.
Actually, I think it's post week 45 in 2010 that has a combi stalk. Your retrofit will be the easier install i think
