12v sockets

Evening folks.
Came to use the 12v socket to check/inflate my tyres before I left for the airport a bit ago, turns out neither of them work lol.
My guess is something as simple as a fuse? Anyone had this?

Need the ignition on. It's shite. Anyone know of an easy fix to keep a permanent supply???

If you plug in something like a coolbox and leave it on while you go shopping the battery would be flat. That's even more shite. So they go off with the ignition. Designed to safeguard against idiots.

Good point but I'm not an idiot and it would be handy to charge phone etc while on a site visit. Having said that I have made the classic cool box error so I suppose yes! I am an idiot!!
