Good deal or not

I bought a 6 month old ex demonstrator from main dealer, 140 TDI with DSG box in Candy White with a shed full of extra's including panoramic roof and under 2000 miles on the clock at a great price (due to putting on best poker face and starting to walk away when inside I was desperate to drive it away).
Even after I got it down to MY price I made out I wasn't too excited so I said if you throw a servicing deal in I would be interested. This is where I'm not too sure I did so well not knowing what servicing cost are. So I signed on the line at the agreed price and a up front payment of £379 for the first Three years servicing. Was this good or bad?

Well we don't know what you paid, but by the sounds of it you got the car you wanted for the price you wanted and then got a few hundred quids worth of servicing on top of that...

What's to complain about!?

EDIT: oh sorry, didn't realised you had paid for the servicing...

£379 is the normal price for the 3 year service plan on new / nearly new cars. Was £299 back in 2011 when I bought mine. Although surprised they had you pay it as a lump some as a few months ago VW swapped over to monthly payments for service plans. Have a look on VW website.

Although, you don't say if it's the VW plan or just a garage specific plan.

I'm in the same boat, it has something to do with having finance with VW over £5k

I'm confused - you imply you got them to throw the service plan in to the deal but then say you paid for it?
