the mallorys arrived! so i cleaned them. 18s with wide tyres to stop me kerbing them.
philips blue visions still looked orange next to the drls so in went front mtec h7 bulbs. went on a midnight cruise looking for bright places to reflect off the car. found the tunnel under the barbican.

Car is looking fantastic. Bulbs look quite blue but I imagine that could be down to the camera.

thanks boys! 
took the led drls out as they were so bright i couldn't take decent pictures. popped an led in the originals, much happier with the match between drls and mains. and yes, the lights seem less blue than this in the flesh, Whitedevil, almost bright white, tiny tinge of blue. really pleased with the mallorys. glad i didn't go 19s (for now).
found another cool tunnel too:

Have you got a link to where you got your DRL's from mate? Did they throw up any notifications on your dashboard? I have a 2009 TDI GT. Will they just plug in if i replace the ones i have?easyrider wrote:new led drls in, didn't like the orange tinted stock:
