What does the stock R front light cluster consist of?

Aside from the xenon bulbs, what else makes up the stock front lights on an R?
I'm on a small modding spree and want to look into upgrading any traditional filament bulbs (if there are any) on the headlights.
Thanks:)
edit: mods can you move to lights section please

As no-one has replied I'll have a go. Not had one apart but I think it's
HID dip and main stays on and dips via a mechanically actuated shutter through the bulls eye lens
Indicator through the uncoloured lens at the bottom
Cornering lights from bare H7 blubs which are clearly pointing out sideways
No side light as that's the DRL.

Ah so cornering I could change to something better than OEM.
Indicator no need and obviously leaving the HID well alone!
Time for Philips bulbs or nightbreakers hmmm...
Thanks for that.

Might do the same.. as cornering is embarrassingly yellow.

Well I've only driven my R once at night and didn't look wout for the colour particularly bit I remember it was different to the mains.
I have night breakers in our family polo.
REALLy good output almost like stock bulbs on beam.
Whiter than stock bulbs too.
The Philips ultra blues are the whitest and good for running 24/7 as mains but not as bright as night breakers in my experience.
For something like cornering lights I would have thought output is the priority over aesthetics as they aren't running all the time?
Osrams are cheaper too, look on Amazon for a good price.

Performance and aesthetics tend to go hand in hand when it comes to lights... The whiter/brighter the light, the better the output.
I've always used Philips X-treme vision bulbs for past cars as they always come out top or near top in reviews etc.
Usually buy from powerbulbs as they have always come up cheapest in price for me.

Well whiter bulbs have more/heavier blue on the glass so would tend to output less light.
Power bulbs seem expensive I don't get why everyone says they are cheap like they haven't looked on the rainforest.
You are right I fitted extreme visions as my full beams on prev ROC and they were like cannons! Don't remember how white they were though.

The bulbs that try to mimmick HIDs with a blue tint on the glass output less light (and to my eyes they ain't even white!)... but on a proper gimmick-free clear bulb it's safe to say that the hotter the filament burns, the whiter/brighter the light emitted and the more powerful the output.
Not sure how competitive powerbulbs are now, but the last time I bought bulbs they were the cheapest, with eBay and Amazon coming in just behind. Might be different now though.

I can confirm that the static cornering light is an H7 bulb, had a look today.
Philips blue vision or night breaker set, haven't decided yet.
Do cornering lights have to use road legal bulbs if they are not on all the time?
