Afternoon all, a very brief background before the reams of VCDS output
I have had a 10 plate car from new that was supplied without Navigation or Bluetooth. I added both best part of 3 years back and both continue to work however I occasionally received the following error "13893632 - Function Restricted due to Insufficient Voltage".
I am able to clear it, but it now seems to be more frequent. Suspecting the battery I have had ATS check it and it shows the correct voltages (when off and charging) although also shows 80% efficiency at cranking.
One final comment, the VCDS error file below is an old one and I've included it to show the config of the car, but from memory I now only get the U1400 bit at the end and not the "Not Coded" stuff earlier on. Any suggestions:

I read a few suggestions about the SD card in the front of the unit causing problems so I have removed it. A few days later the familiar chime of an error being logged.

Hello again!
Came across this thread just after I answered the other!!!
Have a look at this thread; it will give you an insight into the 00447 error code you are getting in your central electronics module.
At this point, I will assume you have coded the Nav/radio/CAN gateway modules properly and have clear the error codes that those are causing.
Any error saying: Sporadic comms/No signal etc etc is usually due to unplugging the unit or messing around with the firmware. Clear those, and see if they return.
The load management intervention kicks in when your battery charge is too low and your car shuts down non-essential items to avoid excess load on the alternator.
Hope this helps.
P.S: What I am trying to say is: Clear all error codes (after correctly coding your Nav). Go for a long ass drive or buy a battery charger to eliminate any charge problems. Monitor the situation.

At this point, I will assume you have coded the Nav/radio/CAN gateway modules properly and have clear the error codes that those are causing.
Any error saying: Sporadic comms/No signal etc etc is usually due to unplugging the unit or messing around with the firmware. Clear those, and see if they return.
The load management intervention kicks in when your battery charge is too low and your car shuts down non-essential items to avoid excess load on the alternator.

P.S: What I am trying to say is: Clear all error codes (after correctly coding your Nav). Go for a long ass drive or buy a battery charger to eliminate any charge problems. Monitor the situation.

Chaps, many thanks all for the advice. I now have a solution (so far).
Key symptoms were phone shutting down due to low voltage, random front right treble speaker open circuit and spurious "ESP Fault" messages. Battery was tested by ATS who show it Good and 85% cranking ability. Changed battery anyway and so far, 3 weeks later and no faults
