Wing mirror cover

Need some help...

Someone kindly smashed the white plastic cover off my drivers side wing mirror and I'm now going to have to replace it. The wing mirror itself is fine.

Just been quoted £150 by VW for part, painting and fitment. Unbelievable.

Can anyone recommend an alternative solution?

They can be bought for around £30 each from ebay or eurocarparts primed. But then you need to get them painted.

Any ideas what painting costs would be? Considering getting some and having them done black.

I have no other carbon fiber on my car so they would look a little odd. I have gloss black 19s so I would rather they matched those.

We'll just get some gloss black vinyl instead? Cheaper and easier than painting

I bought some carbon fibre ones from eBay, £85 delivered for a pair.

I too have black gloss 19's & it's looks the mutts nuts IMO
