spark plug intervals 1.4tsi

Hi all
am just wondering if anyone know the correct interval that the sparkplugs should be changed by vw on a service on the 1.4 (160) engine?
reading the service handbook it seems to suggest it should be done at fourth year service if the mileage is 40k and then at 60k.
My service logbook shows that they have not been changed at all yet (last service was fourth year service where it had done only 36000 miles) so i presume they were not changed then due to not being at 40000 miles.
My fifth year service is now due and i am up to 45000 miles.
Going off what it says in the service handbook would this mean that my plugs will now not be changed until the sixth year service when the car is at around 60000 miles?
