Windscreen Washer Bottle - Water Pouring Out
Posted: Mon Jan 06, 2014 8:16 pm
I got an orange warning light on the dash today for low screenwash level (or empty). Topped it up when I got home only to find all the water I'd just poured in pouring out underneath on to the floor.
After a search on here I found the following topic but I think this post is referring to a standard Roc not an R: http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... tle#p98995
I wanted to see if it's an easy fix I could do myself. Does anyone know if it's easy to remove the right front grill that sits right in front of the washer bottle so I could get a look in there? or is it a case of taking it to the dealers? I know the LED DRL is there too so not too sure of what's involved. With it being wet from torrential rain I haven't had chance to get my head underneath, But not sure if I'd be able to see anything anyway as I've got no means of lifting the front of the car.
As always, any help or advice greatly appreciated.
