Scirocco R revo induction kit

Hi is anyone running the revo race induction kit im noticing a little bit of heat soak from just above the turbo. Iv seen evolution motorsport heat shield anybody used it or got a solution that don't involve wrapping the pipes with awful tape.

The evolution motorsport heat shield is £18 bargin but on chechout the shipping is $87 alone

Is yours the ceramic coated version?
I have it on mine and it seems to hold up very well, even in the summer temps we have here which can get up to 50'C
I wouldn't worry too much, it will soon cool down once you're on the move.

mine is the none ceramic coated intake iv noticed a 2 degrees increase in sustained driving , the heat from the turbo is pretty hot il measure it when when im home and get somebody out here to make a heat-shield for it , its ok now but when i turn the boost up it will only increase

If yours is powder coated it is not the race version of the intake, mine was ceramic

it said race on the box still il get some pics of the heat-shield up next trip back

Wigit is correct the race system should be gray/black ceramic camcoat.

OK the receipt and box was wrong to keep all happy not fussed more interested in fixes ,end of
