If there is one thing I'm certain of I will never buy a car with 19" wheels again........two tyres written off by pot holes in 1 year

The wheels might look nice but they are not practical for UK country roads. Completely ruin the ownership of a nice car

I'll also never have 19's again.
I've had to replace three (count em) THREE front tires in 10000 miles from pothole damage. Sometimes at up to £250 a go because I needed it done straight away.

My car is lowered, do potholes Are rough on the tires. Never har a problem with mine, and the roads her in Norway Are worse than the roads in the UK. Running 20's summer and 19's in the winter since 2009. Never had a problem. You Shield learn to drive around, not in to them.....

Hit a pot hole with my passenger side 18" which caused an egg shaped bulge in the outer wall of the tyre. I was lucky the alloy wasnt buckled or cracked at the same time. Paid a fortune for a replacement. Started writing a letter to the council but never bothered finishing it as they are not obligated to pay out and usually dont. I just bent over and took it like a good citizen :/

Last April I had a (18") tyre ruined by a pot hole, 3 weeks later the new tyre was written off by 2 nails in it.
Oh, how me and the wallet laughed...

I have my car for less than a week when my better half clipped a stone and cut a piece of rubber of the right front tire a chipped the paint. The car is on original 18" rims, I see a lot of guys here on the forum lowering their cars. Here in China the roads are of very varying quality. Super high ways between the big cities, but less awesome out in the boondocks, horrendous would b correct at some time.
I'd like to lower my car but still have the option to drive out in the sticks. So KW HLS4 is something i have been looking at. Anyone have HLS installed on their car??
