Not so much a bargain after all, wife banned from ever driving my car again.

I am left with no choice but to surf the web looking for the most terrible of web sites you can ever imagine and then sign up to them. MMmmm, which email addy to use as the sign up??????????????????? So many decisions..........

I presume from your last paragraph that you are looking in to this? You might find some interesting information regarding private' fining' - I bet they made the paperwork look very 'official' too?

I bit the bullet and paid up as I have been away and only had yesterday to pay the 60 otherwise it would have increased to 100 and sent to a debt collection agency.
Are you suggesting it was a scam, because we rang the store in question and they gave me a number to call so it seemed legit?

What has irritated me most is that rip off companies can contact the DVLA and they will release the details of you address to them.

This happened to my ex which is why I looked in to it very carefully - the point I was trying to make is that they have no legal right to get the money from you - you just ignore them and eventually they rrealise you are in the informed minority and stop writing. Debt Collection will not touch them as there is no contract between you and the parking company for them to enforce. Lots of info on line.

Thats interesting what you say and something to consider the next time if my wife has another brain fart.

By the way, the last part of my paragraph was intended to encourage the use of their email addy if anyone needs to surf and sign up for something iffy such as Viagra or dogs and cats in compromising positions, if you get what I mean?
