Hello Every one,
I am just getting annoyed with how frequent I have to clean and brush the wheels to keep them clean, shiny and spotless. They keep gathering brake dust and soot and I am just wondering if this is common?

Its jusy a part of driving.
Possible answer is cheap pads have been fitted.
But standard pads shouldn't be that bad but will still create dust

Seal your alloys with a wheel sealent or wax. Makes cleaning wheels piece of cake and also helps to prevent brake dust from sticking as much.

never go for ds2500 pads or by the sounds of it you will need to stock up on kleenex to mop away the tears
i hate silver alloys for this reason and always prefer anthracite or brake dust grey

You're not one of those drivers who's constantly touching there brakes are you?
Using your brakes less by driving less enthusiastically and by anticipating the road ahead and traffic conditions will create less brake dust. But won't be as much fun perhaps.
