Only know the basics about cleaning my car but just purchased Auto Finese Touch Coat Sealant as looks like a great product but should I clean the car, wax then apply sealant or use sealant first then wax ?...and what sort of cloth should I use on the interior plastics as I used a micro fibre on a high gloss interior strip in my last car and it had light scratches on after I cleaned it

Everything I use is auto finesse. I find that every product they sell works great and I prefer to stick with one brand.
Tough coat is a really good sealent. I had it on my car at the start of the year. Lasted 4 months easily. tough coat 1st then apply a wax on top.

I would wash the car 1st then followed by removing any contamination with a tar remover and iron fallout remover. Auto finesse sell products that can do these jobs they are Obliterate ( tar remover ) and iron out ( iron fallout remover ). Then clay the paintwork. Wash again followed by drying the car.

Then you need to apply tough prep before using tough coat. Other wise tough coat won't bond correctly. Apply tough coat and job done. Or in your case followed by wax. Tbh I would say just tough coat on its own would be fine, you wouldn't need to wax it. But that comes down to personal preference. I bought a few quality microfibres from auto finesse and polished bliss for using on interior and exterior.

Also once you have applied tough coat apply at least 2 layers.
And you can also use tough coat as a type of quick detailer just to top up the existing layers.
