I was always under the impression that the uptake on the "viper green" Rocs was quite high, and a couple years ago there seemed to be loads about...
But now that i am looking for one they seem pretty scarce, the nearest one for sale is 94 miles away! (i'm in Newcastle)
Fortunately i have time on my hands as i dont need the car day to day so im holding out.

before you splash out, i know a dealer who said he would not accept a viper green scirocco as a trade in, as it could tske too long to shift.

I've just bought a viper green. In a 80 mile radius there were 2 for sale. They tend to fetch good money on autotrader i've noticed. I missed out on 2 vipers as they were snapped up within a few days and i was looking twice a day for a viper.

I think its not everyone's taste and a daring choice from new, but i think who ever that dealer was that wouldn't accept a viper trade in is either in the middle of nowhere or simply not a good salesman...

I am on my second Viper, when I part exchanged my 10 plate GT170 they only had it on the forecourt for two weeks before it was sold. All down to model and spec too me thinks. Viper is a brave colour though!!!!!

Yeah, definitely a matter of taste. In hindsight, looking at the posts, there's a following for the Vipers, so I guess, coupled with the fact that there's less if them, they should sell ok. Definitely a brave choice. I had a rising blue, I really like the candy white, but I'm now exceptionally happy with my subtle metallic grey.
Good luck with your choice. I'm a little sorry I didn't go for the R version with tinted windows and nicer wheels.
Hey, but colour apart, its nice to be in the position to be about to get one- you'll be happy regardless if colour.

I was following a Viper around the M25 this morning, with the flow of traffic we did pass each other a few times. In the bright sunlight it looked really good and certainly stood out.
