Nice! Got to love the de-restricted autobahn!!

Last time I was on one I got up to 247km/h (148mph) in mine before hitting traffic... The missus was VERY quiet!!

nice little vid

it is an absolute joy driving on the Autobahn and the standard of driving is way better, not many middle lane hoggers and HGVs are restricted to when they can overtake, also people respect the speed limit where restricted

had a wonderful trip from Wolfsburg to the Nurburgring and got the ED35 up to just over 160mph on the GPS (still pulling as no restrictor and a few more ponies) and when permitted never really dropped below 110, mpg suffered a bit

Brilliant!
Looking forward to a long autobahn trip myself next week in my Roc. :D
Won't be quite as quick as this one though - (but a damn sight more fun than my daily grind on the M1 in the Passat 1.6D Bluemotion!!)
Dead right what Wigit says about the standard of driving on the autobahns - far better than here.

Did 140 on the dial in an Avis rented Audi A4 2.0 standard diesel (no quat), with 4 adults in, and shit loads of luggage (rammed boot, including a computer) and bags in the car.

Really nice drive. Sold me on Audi's anyway. Still thinking of an S5 now...
