The Chronicles of an Australian Scirocco R

Hi everyone
Nice to see a Scirocco dedicated forum! I'm Josh and I hail from sunny Australia...Melbourne to be more precise.
Just bought a new and fully-optioned 2013 Scirocco R last week. I am new to the Volkswagen scene having only owned a Mazda 3 before this. I got some lowering springs installed and a set of VMR wheels. I am planning a few more visual and performance mods and will update this space.
This is my Mazda
Feedback and suggestions are most welcome
Cheers
Josh

I'd say to stop using the blur effect in post processing, I think it's distracting. If you want the background blurred get a lens with a big aperture and do it with the camera rather than add it it post. Nice car though and welcome to the forum.

The front splitter, where did you buy it?
Nice car overall!

The front splitter was from EZLIP. It's made of rubber. lol
I've just got the Kerscher full CF splitter

Not a fan of the splitter (a bit too Mazda-ey for my liking), otherwise an awesome looking car with nice mods.
Bet there aren't too many of these in Aus huh?

I think the splitter is so hot. After seeing the Concept X car i falled in love.
Im going to buy one from kercher too! Semse like the fitment is very good.

Thanks guys. Yup Sciroccos are still quite rare in Australia which is a good thing I guess.
Here are some pics with the new gunmetal wheels. I am liking the current ride height. Not too low but low enough for daily driving even with the lip...although I avoid multi-story carparks in the city. lol

Cheers guys!
As for future mods:
I am looking to get an APR or Viezu tune and a VWR Intake.
Also eyeing the Scirocco Cup spoiler but I need to see more pictures of it before I pull the trigger.
I will be receiving my Maniacs Paddle Shift Extensions tomorrow. Will post pics after installing them.

I've got to admit, I'm not a huge fan of the cup spoiler, it really does 'spoil' the lines of the scirocco but styling is all personal taste so whatever floats your boat.
The VWR intake looks really good, I'm not sure if you get it down in Auz but the REVO inlet looks good and works very well. The later models of the inlet come with a ceramic coating to reduce the heat in the inlet pipe.

Thanks for the info James. I have to agree, the cup spoiler does seem to be a little too bold and out there for my taste.
I have ordered the VWR intake but will look in to the REVO inlet. Also toying with the idea of getting a ne exhaust set up. More photos and updates to follow soon.
