Concerned-Any Ideas?

Hi All,
My 1.4 TSI with a Stage 1 Revo Map is starting to raise a couple of concerns for me, hopefully nothing to major and the paranoia is causing the majority of the problem
Back in January I created a topic concerning my blown turbo, and a few members clearly pointed out that I shouldn't be achieving 50+ MPG and there was something wrong with the car in the first place. Well since then I have had a new turbo, oil pump feed etc, all checked out, boosting great and the remaps fantastic.
Over the last 2-3 weeks though I have seen a dramatic increase in the MPG, easilly achieving 50+ MPG, for instance this morning according to the trip on setting 1 I achieved 52.8 MPG. This is causing me concern as the last time this happened, 3 weeks later my Turbo went pop. The car is due in for a service on Monday at Midland VW so I will request for them to check it out, but unfortunately I have to do around 150 miles worth of driving this weekend, and I really REALLY do not want to have to experience what happened in January again.
I have also noticed a slight different 'whine' when giving it the beans accellerating.
Does anyone have any ideas, or has anyone experienced the same before?
Any tips would be great.
Cheers
GG
