Mismatched/wrong directional tyres

Okay, I just bought a 2.0 TSI GT from a main dealer on the approved used scheme. I didn't realise before I drove away, but in short, all four tyres are different brands, and one of them is a directional tyre that's on the wrong way!

How annoyed/concerned should I be, and what in your opinion should the dealer do to put it right? I'm a bit p*****d off, seeing as it's an immediate safety concern on a performance car. Surely matched pairs should be the minimum on something like a 2.0 TSI?

I think your only likely outcome here (assuming the tyres are legal, the correct size and performance rating for the car and the same ones that were on the car when you inspected it prior to purchase) would be to get the dealer to correct the fitment of the rotation sensitive tyre free of charge.

Figured as much. Ah well, it's an excuse for four corners of new Goodyear F1 rubber... ;)

I would certainly let the garage know of your disappointment, especially the "directional" tyre being the wrong way round.
