Wind noise from drivers window

I've just had the window motor replaced but have noticed that I am getting wind noise from the front edge of the window now. Comparing it to the passenger side, there appears to be a gap where the angled section meets the rubber seal at the top of the black plastic triangle when the door closes - the gap doesn't appear to be there on the passenger side.

Before I ring up my dealer, does anyone know if I am correct in thinking that there is adjustment in the level of the window - i.e to tilt the window up and down slightly? I am thinking that the front needs lifting a little to get it to seat correctly in the seal?

They haven't bothered to finish the job! There are adjustments to take all that out and make the window sit correctly. Refer them to adjustments in Chapter 64.2.4 Glazing - Adjusting the Door Windows.

Yep as above the window needs to be adjusted. My car was like this from new and had a gap where you described. There are plugs on the underside of the door that allow adjustment and it was a simple 5 minute job.

Thank guys - all sorted. Well, not quote as simple as that though.

After waiting for an hour for it to be done, I drove off I that noticed that my driver door speaker wasn't working properly so did a U turn and when straight back in. 25 minutes later, all done. Surely, anyone doing such work would systematically check that all the electrics are working as they should be before clipping the car back and then, most certainly, before handing the car back to the customer.

As I said they can adjust by removing the plug from the bottom of the door. They must have removed the whole door trim.
