Interesting "feature" on diesel start up.

Hi all, bit of a nothing really, but after 2 years of owning the Rocco, I this morning discovered a new "feature" I didn't know it had.
When turning the key to ignition, I usually wait until the glow plug light goes out then start the car. Well for some reason this morning, I didn't wait and accidentally turned the key immediately to the full "start" position. Well as soon as the glow plug light went out, the engine started without me having to turn the key again, i.e. it waited until the glow plug sequence had finished then automatically started the car !
On all my other VW diesel models, if you tried to start the car whilst the glow plug light was on, the starter motor would turn the engine over and attempt to start the car immediately (sometimes without success if it was very cold), however the Rocco prevents this and always allow the glow plug sequence to finish first.
Like I said, a really minor point, but I love the little tech things that VAG are implementing on their modern cars![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
