Climate control panel

Can you replace the "2 dial" climate control panel with the newer "2012/2013" version with 3 silver dials?
I am assuming its purely just a cosmetic change?

Assuming you have a 2010 / 2011 car with full 2-zone climate control then yes - it's a straight swap plus new trim piece for the centre console as the gap between head unit and climate unit is reduced ever so slightly.

Well, as it happens ;-)
I bought the new unit off ebay a few months ago and fitted to the car - it has a slight mark on the passenger side temp display but I've only ever noticed it in direct bright sunshine. Also have the centre console trim in piano black. Only selling as I'm trading the car in so have put the pre-2013 unit back in the car.
