I had sold my Mod X ST around 4 months ago. Was a sad day letting it go, but better things were to come was what i always said to myself.

2 months back I didnt really wanna look at buy a new car, but saw a white Scirocco 2.0TSi that I liked alot.

Went for a test drive, enjoyed the ride and feel, and loved the DSG box so I decided to give a VAG a try.

Ended up buying this 3 weeks ago.

Car was bone stock when I got it. The very next day, I had a downpipe fitted at FR&R in Centurion. Big thanks to Leon and Bluez for assisting with the short notice.
The day after, I was back in PTA to see Mr Mooloo at Revo, had a stage 2 revo file loaded on the car. Car felt good but there was still much to be done.

Two days later, ended up back at Revo to get the Revo 2 intake.

Car def felt better with the intake. more response and dumps pretty decently.

Ended up buying a K04 turbo yesterday, with the forge air pipe.
Water/meth kit on its way as well, will fit K04, meth and throttle pipes next week. Well then go back to Mr Mooloo for the revo 3 file :D :D

Update....

So this weekend I managed to buy 3 new lil parts for the car.

Devils own DVC30 progressive kit.
Front mount twin cooler - works in conjuction with stock cooler so you are effectively running two intercoolers.
Custom boost pipes - 52mm from turbo to cooler. 63mm to throttle pipe from cooler.

Things are shaping up well :D

Just a quick pic of the twin cooler, works in combination with the stock cooler.[/quote]

Just a little update on the car. So we tried installing the meth kit, and turns out the controller was faulty. That put a delay on the meth setup going in. Meth kit is pretty much wired up already, with the pump mounted and the water bottle secured. All wires have been threaded into the cabin.

Managed to get a replacement controller this week so will be connecting the kit up on the weekend.

Picked up the K04 with the forge dv, forge dv holder, forge blanking plate, and the DV relocation kit. Not sure if I should install it now or wait till the new year :?

You don't hang about do you haha. This thing is going to be rapid! Lot of power to put through the front wheels!!! :) what sort of bhp do you expect to be making? Also what suspension brake and wheel set up have you gone for?

Lol I used to drive a Focus ST that made 270hp on the wheels and 470Nm of torque. Driving a stock Roc wasnt going to cut it at all haha.

I am hoping to get to around 340hp on the wheels.

On the wheel update side, I am going to be swapping up the rims on the car for a set of BBS CH-R 19's. Suspension wise, I will be going for a Koni shock/H&R spring combo, or an H&R coilover kit. The stock brakes are holding up pretty well at the moment on the current setup, so I dont see them being a problem. I will however look a set of Stratis brakes when i need to make some replacements to the brakes

Its been a while since I posted some updates and pics.

On the bad news side - panel shops are closed so my suspension damage from a pothole will only be fixed next year. Oh well. Atleast all the claim approvals have been given :D

After a 4 hour wait, the deed has been done. K04 lock and loaded.

Still running the stage 2 file, tuner is on holiday and will only be able to help me on Sat morning, which is fine.
Pretty happy with the sound, especially with the Forge dv spacer.

Revo 3 Go Play!!!

Update

Stage 3 was loaded this morning. All I can say is mother ef! Car is so much better. I don't know why VW didn't come out with this motor like this.

Logged the car after the map was loaded. Car is flowing more than 250g/s and is pulling zero timing at the moment (with the meth off)

Will turn the meth on after the car has fully adapted and then switch to P2 on the sps unit.

Mofo's best be careful now if they see a Rocc next to them :hyper: :p

Imi007,

Love what you have done to your Roc - but spoilt by all the Revo etc stickers I'm my opinion !! TJ

These are 19" RS3 reps - matt black and concave. Not sure the make of them but I can put you in touch with the guy I bought the rims from down in SA.

The Revo stickers on may be coming off, still deciding. I love the game over and go play stickers on the car. I may take the side Revo stickers off tho. Lets see

If it was me i'd go the other way! Keep the side ones and ditch the other two - maybe lose the underline on the side stickers though. The gameover one is just too big in my opinion.

Loving the wheels!

What kind of springs do you have?

I had the H&R springs on my car up until last week. I decided to have them removed and got myself a set of fully adjustable Koni coilovers, purely because I got a good deal on the coilies.

The front is now a bit lower, and the back another 20mm lower. I could slam the front alot more but the roads down in Johannesburg arent that forgiving to front bumpers.

Will post pics of the car soon!

Ok so its been a while since I have done an update.

After my endless issues with a limp mode error, it turns out that the technician fittinf certain parts had used the incorrect clamp sealants. As a result it was casuing a significant boost leak. Had that sorted out and the car was then fine.

After a few months of waiting, my new K04 turbo was available (OEM K04) and fitted to my car two weekeneds ago.

We loaded a new Stage 3 file (v2) and have been enjoying the new gains found. In the midrange we have found an additional 40Nm and 25hp. At peak the gains have been +- 8whp.

This was me last night doing some late night testing.

100 - 200. This was on 95 Pump fuel, with the methanol turned OFF.
