Hi don't suppose anyone who has had their front windows on the sirocco tinted ?
I've just been to get mine done, waited 2 hours to be told it can't be done because the windows drop when u open the doors so the film doesn't have time to dry properly.
Grateful for any help :-)

I live in France, it is very common to tint our front windows and there is no problem.

I waited between one and two hours to have my windows tinted for 149€ and then you must not open your windows for two days so that the film dries.

On the picture it looks dark but in reality it is the same colour than the rear windows.

Yeah but everywhere does it still. Police seem to have eased off it. There's loads of cars with it done.

They've just it left it to the insurers to deal with when the vehicle is inspected by the assessor as part of an insurance claim. Invalidated insurance results if the rule is breached. Usually instantly leaving the owner with the hit.

In France it is not illegal but policemen like interpreting the law their own way so they often arrest you whereas they don't have the right to... There is nothing in French law saying that it is illegal. The only thing you must not tint is the windscreen ^^
