Hi!

I currently have the RCD 310... would like to upgrade to either RCD 510 or RNS 510.
What would be the best option? Is navigation really worth it?

Really want the 6 disc capability. Not sure if the RNS has this?
Plan to get an Ipod connection with Media IN as well.

Basically just really want a nice big colour screen

the RNS510 doesn't have the 6 disc changer, the satnav unit takes up that space instead

But if you're going the iPod route, you really don't need cd's.....

You could always get a 32gb SD card for music mp3's as well.

I've moved from the rcd to rns, can haven't looked back.

You can add a 6 disc changer in the centre armrest to an RNS 510 if you want. If you do this you can't have the Media In connection though. It's one or the other unless you use a third party Media In from Denison.

Sounds weird but i kinda like having CD's as well as ipod..

Oh 1 more thing.. To get the whole ipod connection up and running I will need both:
-Media IN
-ipod connection

Is that correct?

You still have a single slot for a CD in the RNS 510 without the 6 disc changer in the armrest. 1 CD and an iPod is good enough no?

Is it true that the RCD and RNS 510 come with the Media IN?
Or do i have to buy it seperately? along with an ipod cable.

just upload the cd's to the hard drive on the RNS....it has 18gb of space spare.....

then you have the HDD, the ipod and still a single CD slot....
